Regulatory & compliance support
North Star is supported by a dedicated regulatory and compliance function that works alongside the founding leadership as the organization develops. The team brings experience in regulatory affairs, quality systems, controlled documentation, compliance planning, and risk-based review.
Its role is to help ensure that North Star's programs, public communications, partnerships, and future initiatives are developed in alignment with applicable Minnesota requirements, OCM guidance, nonprofit governance expectations, and other relevant standards. This compliance-focused approach helps North Star grow responsibly, transparently, and with appropriate regulatory discipline from the outset.
