North Star Cannabinoid Health Foundation is a Minnesota nonprofit organization headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, focused on responsible cannabinoid education, research literacy, community engagement, and public benefit.

To improve lives by advancing responsible cannabinoid education, evidence-informed research, community programs, and future access to quality-focused solutions developed in accordance with applicable laws and ethical standards.
Our vision
To establish Minnesota as a recognized center for cannabinoid health and innovation, where science, compassion, community leadership, and responsible enterprise come together to create meaningful and lasting public benefit.
Our approach
North Star is building its public-benefit programs, governance, partnerships, and educational resources before considering any regulated cannabis activity. Any future regulated activity will remain separate from the Foundation’s educational and community work and will require all applicable approvals.

Founding leadership
Sudhir Singh
Founder & President
Sudhir Singh is the founder and driving force behind North Star Cannabinoid Health Foundation. An electrical engineer educated at IIT Kharagpur, he brings more than three decades of experience across technology, project leadership, operations, construction, energy efficiency, and business development in the United States and internationally. His background includes leadership work with major organizations such as 3M, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Best Buy, UnitedHealth Group, Honeywell, Seagate, and Pillsbury, as well as building the LHU group of companies in Minnesota. At North Star, he is focused on bringing business, medical, veteran, scientific, technical, and community leaders together around responsible cannabinoid education, research, and public benefit.

Binay Singh is an experienced business and technology executive with more than 25 years of leadership across strategy, operations, program management, business development, financial management, and large-scale technology initiatives. His background includes leading global teams, enterprise transformation programs, customer and partner relationships, governance, budgeting, and complex technology delivery. He has also helped build a software startup from early-stage development through revenue generation and private fundraising. At North Star, he brings strategic discipline, operational structure, partnership experience, and a focus on building an organization that can grow responsibly and sustainably.

Founding Director, Technology & Digital Strategy
Biju Meethaleveedu began his career in India in fashion and advertising sales before moving into architectural materials, selling reflective glass to architects. After relocating to the United States, he transitioned into logistics, where he was part of the team that implemented a modern inventory management system. He went on to found and operate ventures spanning e-commerce, technology, logistics, and agriculture. At North Star, he leads technology and digital strategy, applying artificial intelligence to research that serves human well-being.
